Spring Concert

Tualatin High School Choir's annual spring concert will be Thursday, April 3, in the school auditorium at 22300 SW Boones Ferry Road, Tualatin, OR. The concert starts at 7:30 PM and is free. The Concert Choir will be performing their state competition set which includes “Jubilate Deo” by Gabrieli (1557-1612); “Bogoroditse Devo” by Sergei Rachmaninoff (1873-1943); “I've Got A Robe”, a Spiritual arranged Roderick Williams; and “Dance” a Balkan Folklore by Aleksandar S. Vujic'. "Jubilate Deo" will be accompanied by several members of the Oregon Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra and Oregon Symphonic Band.

Treble Choir will be performing a beautiful Mark Hayes arrangement of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Cadet Choir is performing a traditional madrigal, "April is in my Mistress' Face" by Thomas Morley (1557-1603) and "Fa Una Conzona", an Italian Conzonetta for four part chorus. Six solo &ensemble soloists will be featured performing their competition selections.

TuHS Concert Choir will compete in the Pacific Conference Choral Festival on Wednesday, April 9 at Forest Grove High School.
